Yikes, the universe is expanding faster than we thought!

New Hubble telescope measurements see higher value for the Hubble constant. This is a number that measures the velocity of acceleration of the universe itself. It is expanding faster that we thought! According to the Second Law of Thermodynamics, when this process of expansion reaches a certain point, the temperature of the universe will have equalized everywhere (a state known as maximum entropy) and no exchange of energy or life will exist. Yikes!
